Mr Shriful Islam

Research Scholar

Mr Shriful Islam is a PhD researcher at the Geotechnical Engineering Centre within the School of Civil Engineering at The University of Queensland (UQ). Mr Islam is working with mine tailings and geo-materials, even wastewater, and happy to see their microstructure and phenomena through cutting-edge research and modeling approach. His research works aim to the enhancement of geotechnical thoughts for the sustainable development of mine closure and building infrastructure.
